The search program permits the formulation of queries from any logical printouts using the keywords to AND, OR and NOT. A grouping of the printouts is possible with round brackets. Examples:
- Look information up
- Finds documents, which contain ' search ' or ' information '.
- Look OR up information
- See above
- Look AND up information
- Finds documents, which contain both ' search ' and ' information '.
- Look NOT up information
- Finds documents, which contain ' search ', but not ' information '.
- (search AND information) NOT wais
- But not ' wais ' finds documents, which contain ' search ' and ' information '.
- Web *
- Finds documents, which contain words, which begin with ' Web '.
